Meet Dr. Poldek
I love being a dentist. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping a person achieve a healthy smile! No matter if it’s a small process or a situation requiring multiple procedures, we work together to restore oral health and improve the person’s quality of life.
I’ve been practicing for almost 15 years and treasure the relationships that have grown with my patients. I enjoy getting to know them, hearing their stories and watching families grow and change. Caring for everyone in a family, from the children through their great-grandparents, and helping each develop optimal dental health, is a great experience.
For me, dentistry is the perfect combination of science, technology, aesthetics, and relationships. I enjoy the challenge of caring for people with different clinical and personal concerns, diverse goals, and unique personalities. Every person is different, each procedure requires a custom approach, and every healthy, beautiful smile is wonderful!

My education didn’t stop when I completed my doctorate. Dentistry is a constantly evolving field and it’s critical I stay current on new developments.
I’m a member of the CEREC® Study Club, the Galileos CBCT Mentor program, and have completed multiple Dental Spa and dental implant seminars.
At Poldek Family Dental, we’ve incorporated state-of-the-art technologies, including CAD/CAM and cone beam imaging, in the practice. We’re high-tech, using leading-edge processes combined with the essential human touch.

Beyond the Practice
I have lived in Schaumburg since 2003, however I am originally from Ancona, IL a small farming community in Central IL. I enjoying doing Cross Fit and you will often find me at the 5:30 am class! When not working, my priority is spending time with my wife Meghan and our two children, Katie and Tommy. Both of our children are in competitive sports, so our weekends are busy attending their volleyball tournaments and gymnastics meets. Our family loves to travel, we enjoy trying new cuisines and learning about different cultures!
Meet Dr. James Loeser, DDS, MD
Dr. Loeser was born and raised in Elmhurst, Illinois. He is a graduate of York Community High School, Class of 1990. He then graduated from the University of Dayton, where he played football and ran track & field at the collegiate level. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then attended the University of Louisville, School of Medicine, where he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed both his General Surgery internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty training at the University of Louisville Hospital.
He is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Dr. Loeser’s clinical interests include the removal of impacted third molars under IV anesthesia, dental implants, facial and oral pathology, corrective (orthognathic) jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, facial reconstruction of bones and soft tissue to restore traumatic defects, and to prepare for dental implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation.
He has staff privileges at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital where he takes oral surgery and facial trauma emergency call.
Dr. Loeser and his wife Jane have four children. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his children in hockey, wrestling, football and baseball. He also enjoys downhill and water skiing, running, live music, and reading philosophy. Dr. Loeser holds a black belt rank in Kodokan Judo, and a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
